Today we are taking one of the biggest steps in our technology journey so far. KTV Working Drone is expanding into robotics.
For years, our focus has been on developing drone technology for safer and more efficient work at height. Now we are entering a new chapter.
Meet Maggie, the first robot in our new KTV Working Robot initiative.
Maggie is a magnetic climbing robot built for demanding industrial environments. She can move vertically, horizontally and underneath steel structures and is designed for applications including tanks, ships, offshore installations, oil & gas facilities and wind turbines.
Today, Maggie can already perform high-pressure cleaning up to 500 bar, using four rotating front nozzles with 180° movement and an additional robotic arm.
But this is only the beginning.
Maggie is being developed for:
• Inspection
• NDT (In development)
• Coating thickness measurement
• Spot blasting
• Surface preparation
• Surface treatment (In development)
• Spray painting
• Increasingly autonomous operation
Our goal is much bigger than building a cleaning robot.
We are building technology that can take over dangerous work.
Technology that can operate where people should not have to.
- From drones to robotics.
- From remote operation to autonomy.
- From dangerous work to smarter technology.
This is a major new focus for KTV Working Drone.
