This week, KTV Working Drone’s Norwegian partner, KTV Group, started cleaning the IKEA building in Bergen using technology developed by KTV Working Drone.
KTV Working Drone technology is now being used to clean the IKEA building in Bergen, Norway, with approximately 70% of the façade cleaning is being carried out autonomously.
What makes this possible is KTV Working Drone’s own hardware, sensor technology and software, developed specifically for cleaning and surface treatment with drones.
The pilot is present at all times for safety and monitoring. If the pilot moves the control sticks, the pilot immediately takes control and the autonomous flight is interrupted.
This provides a very good combination of automation, control and safety.
Autonomous flight makes the pilot’s work easier, reduces the risk of quality deviations and helps ensure that cleaning is carried out more consistently and with greater control across large façade areas.
