KTV Working Drone UK has successfully completed a drone-based window cleaning project at The Island in Manchester for CBRE.
The building presents unique access constraints and significant health and safety risks when using traditional window cleaning methods, making conventional solutions impractical. An alternative approach was therefore required to ensure safe execution while maintaining high quality standards.
KTV Working Drone addressed these challenges by deploying its drone-based window cleaning solution using the pure water method, enabling safe, efficient and non-invasive cleaning of the building’s exterior windows without the need for traditional access equipment or working at height.
Sylvia Moutsopoulos, Building Manager at The Island, Manchester, commented:
“KTV are extremely knowledgeable, proactive, and solution-focused. They have demonstrated a clear understanding of the site constraints and have worked collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcome. The quality of the work delivered has been excellent, with consistently fantastic results.”
The project highlights how drone-based window cleaning provides a practical, safe and commercially viable solution for buildings with complex access conditions.
KTV Working Drone is the market leader, with partners in 68 countries. Our system, the first of its kind, eliminates the need for people working at height, significantly reduces operational risk, and delivers one of the most sustainable cleaning solutions available today.
