KTV Working Drone leading innovation in drone technology

Last week, significant meetings were held in China, showcasing our commitment to driving technological advancements to new heights. KTV Working Drone is a global leader in technology development, spearheading innovation in the drone-based building cleaning industry.

Our latest breakthrough, a sensor launched in 2024, enables autonomous flight and enhances safety, placing us far ahead of competitors who have yet to replicate our technology. At the World Conference in Amsterdam this November, KTV Working Drone was showcased as a unique example of innovation, redefining the potential uses of drones.

Our initial dialogue with DJI began in 2017 during development efforts in Norway. Since then, we have collaborated closely with DJI’s R&D team. This week, alongside a partner in China, we conducted a demo for the R&D team and held meetings at DJI’s headquarters in Shenzhen. We have a clear vision for further collaboration, with KTV Working Drone focusing on hardware and software development while leveraging DJI’s platform. This collaboration is highly distinctive and an uncommon approach for DJI. As many know, DJI is the world’s largest drone supplier, with an R&D department employing over 3,000 employees. This collaboration has the potential to yield significant advancements as early as 2025.

KTV Working Drone is also the first company to secure operating permits that have been accepted across large parts of the world. We were pioneers in developing a solution where the drone is secured from the roof, and the associated patent process has been underway for over two years. Innovation often necessitates adjustments to existing rules and regulations. AESA, which oversees regulations within the EU, is currently drafting new guidelines based on our operations manual, expected to take effect by 2025.

Our journey toward internationalization began in 2022. Today, we are established in 64 countries across all continents. Our vision is to develop technology that eliminates the need for people to work on lifts, BMUs, or as climbers, prioritizing their safety. In some countries, regulations prohibiting manual building cleaning due to high fatality rates are already in place. The statistics are alarming: in some countries, over 250 fatalities occur annually from building cleaning activities. Additionally, new regulatory requirements are emerging worldwide, restricting the use of BMUs and climbers.

This shift signals a race to develop the best technology to meet market demands. KTV Working Drone is uniquely positioned to lead this change, backed by cutting-edge technology, approved operating permits, and significant market share. Our commitment to creating exceptional business opportunities for partners, saving lives, and enhancing products for our customers fuels the passion and dedication of everyone involved at KTV Working Drone.
