KTV Working Drone made a strong impression on Elior Group during a live demonstration in Aberdeen Scotland.
On 11 June, KTV Working Drone, together with our partners KTV Working Drone Scotland and KTV Working Drone UK, had the opportunity to present our groundbreaking drone technology to Elior in Aberdeen, Scotland. The demonstration was broadcast live to the company’s operations managers and decision-makers through an internal livestream, providing a unique insight into how the future of building cleaning and maintenance can be carried out more safely, more efficiently and more sustainably.
Elior Group is one of the world’s largest providers of facility management, catering and support services. The group operates in 11 countries, has more than 133,000 employees and delivers services to millions of people every day across sectors such as hospitals, schools, universities, public buildings and commercial properties.
Before the demonstration, interest in drone technology was high, but as with many large organisations, there were natural questions about how mature the technology actually is. During the livestream, participants were able to see the technology in practical use, carried out by KTV Working Drone Scotland/UK, and the response was very positive.
The demonstration showed how work traditionally carried out using lifts, scaffolding or other high-risk methods can instead be performed from the ground using specially developed drones. This provides significant health and safety benefits, reduces risk for employees and eliminates many of the challenges associated with working at height.
At the same time, the solution helps reduce resource use, vehicle requirements, equipment needs and environmental impact. For organisations with large property portfolios, this represents a new and more sustainable way to carry out maintenance and cleaning.
The potential was highlighted in particular for hospitals, schools and public buildings. Several participants saw clear benefits in replacing traditional methods with drone-based solutions that provide increased safety, improved efficiency and a lower climate impact.
For KTV Working Drone, this is yet another confirmation that the market is ready for the technological development we have been working on for a long time. The interest from a global player such as Elior shows that drone-based services are becoming a natural part of the future operation and maintenance of buildings worldwide.
This is not only about new technology. It is about creating safer workplaces, reducing environmental impact and delivering smarter solutions to customers who want to combine efficient operations with sustainable choices.
