KTV SelfCleaner is a cleaning method developed to avoid the use of high-pressure washing during façade cleaning. High pressure can often be a heavy strain on building surfaces.
KTV SelfCleaner is applied to surfaces as a foam using low pressure. The product is distributed either through long telescopic poles or by drone. Within a few weeks, the façades start to clean themselves, and the product reaches full effect after about three months. There is therefore no immediate visible change, but the results appear gradually over time.
During application, the windows may appear white from the foam, but this disappears completely within a short time (approximately 10 minutes). If any residue dries due to sunlight, it will wash away naturally with the first rainfall or when water is applied.
This cleaning method is more environmentally friendly and far gentler on façades than traditional high-pressure washing. It is also much faster to apply, resulting in significantly less noise and disturbance for residents.
To carry out the work, we depend on temperatures above 0°C and minimal rain and wind. Weather conditions may therefore cause slight adjustments to the planned start time.
KTV SelfCleaner does not damage surfaces, furniture, cars, clothing, or other outdoor objects. It is also gentle on exterior vegetation such as bushes, trees, and grass, and should not cause harm to these.
However, indoor plants and delicate flowers, such as summer blooms, may not tolerate direct contact with KTV SelfCleaner. We therefore kindly ask that such plants are removed or covered before cleaning begins.
We use the pure water method for window cleaning, where the water is purified to 100% pure. The water is heated to 60°C and applied using drones and telescopic poles.
Stains from bird droppings, paint, or other substances that must be scraped off will not disappear through regular window cleaning. Some streaks may appear if the windows have not been cleaned for several years, or if large amounts of soap have been used previously. The same applies to runoff from metals, acid damage from concrete or chemicals, as well as glue or silicone residues. These issues cannot be corrected by the drone cleaning process.
Traditional window cleaning may provide a more immediately spotless result since the cleaner can inspect all surfaces during the process. However, after just a few days, the results will appear identical.
The pure water method is an environmentally friendly and gentle way to clean façades. The water is purified through an advanced filtration and resin system that removes all minerals and impurities, resulting in 100 percent pure water that leaves no streaks or residue when it dries.
This method makes it possible to clean façades effectively without the use of chemicals, while protecting both the building and the environment. Pure water has a natural ability to dissolve and attract dirt, dust and pollution, leaving surfaces clean and clear.
The method also provides a high level of safety, as the work can be carried out using telescopic poles or drones, eliminating the need for scaffolding or work at height.

During façade and window cleaning with drones, it is very important that no one uses the terraces while work is in progress. Please follow all barriers and instructions provided by on-site personnel.
The area beneath the drone will be cordoned off to maintain safety during operation. This may result in certain entrances being temporarily inaccessible or closed for short periods.
If anyone has particularly powerful radio transmitters or other types of electronic equipment that emit strong signals, these must be switched off. Please note that this does not apply to wireless internet or Wi-Fi.
Do not disturb the pilot or operators while the work is being carried out.
The drones used during the assignment are equipped with a high-resolution RGB camera, which is used by the pilot for navigation only. The recording function is disabled, meaning that no film or images are stored during cleaning operations.
For some projects, a small drone may be used to film the cleaning drone in action. This is done for marketing purposes or to document the work performed. Any such filming will be agreed with the client in advance. In these cases, a data processing agreement applies, and all collected data is handled by KTV Group as the designated data processor.
The data processor is responsible for ensuring that all collected data and personal information are stored and processed in accordance with the applicable data processing agreement and relevant legal regulations.
If individuals, personal data, or other confidential information are captured during data collection, the data processor is required to censor such information before any further use of the material. The pilot must promptly notify any third party if collected data could potentially violate privacy, and must, as far as possible, ensure that data collection is carried out in a way that minimizes the inclusion of people, personal information, or confidential details in the visual material.
