The clean-water method for window cleaning
The clean-water method is an effective technique for cleaning glass surfaces, which utilizes reverse osmosis to achieve a chemical-free outcome. This approach eliminates the need for harsh chemicals, resulting in long-lasting and environmentally friendly cleanliness.
For surfaces with a high level of dust, we use this cleaning method. This approach effectively cleans both façades and windows at the same time.
The method is particularly well-suited for urban areas where dust accumulation is a greater issue. The clean water method is currently the most widely used technique for window cleaning.
Our drone carries a hose with purified water, filtered through reverse osmosis, and cleans façades and windows using 100 bar pressure and heated purified water at 70°C. Each window surface is cleaned twice to ensure optimal results. The level of cleanliness is comparable to traditional cleaning with soap, water, and rinsing.
When it comes to window cleaning we always inform our clients that manual window cleaning, performed by workers using lifts or climbing equipment, will typically result in a slightly cleaner surface, as the workers can inspect the areas directly. However, that method is also more expensive and time consuming.
The drone works faster but does not offer the same level of control and inspection during the cleaning process as manual methods.

We have developed a unique method for applying KTV NanoCoating after cleaning. The product creates a protective barrier that prevents water penetration and helps keep surfaces cleaner for longer. It has a lifespan of up to 10 years.
KTV NanoCoating is recommended for all mineral surfaces, including plaster, concrete, brick façades, and similar materials.
Thanks to our proprietary drone technology, we can apply the coating at a rate of up to 2,000 m² per hour. This makes it an ideal solution for use in the property, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

Unique and long-term agreements
With the KTV Care agreement, we take full responsibility for ensuring that facades and windows remain clean through a long-term maintenance plan. In addition, every three years an inspection is carried out along with a condition report.
Clients receive access to the Bluetag quality system portal, where they can easily view the full history of completed work and inspection reports. This agreement provides full oversight of external damage and future maintenance needs.
All reports are prepared by structural engineers and focus on building damage, thermal leaks, cracks, water ingress, and general needs for cleaning or surface treatment.
By combining cleaning and inspection, costs are significantly reduced for the client while ensuring complete control over the building’s maintenance.

The drones used during operations are equipped with high-resolution RGB cameras, which are used by the pilot for navigation purposes. The recording function is disabled, meaning no video or images are stored during cleaning operations with the drone.
For certain assignments, we may use a mini drone to film the cleaning drone in action. This is done for marketing purposes or to document the work being performed. Any such filming is agreed upon with the client in advance. In these cases, the Data Processing Agreement applies. All collected data is handled exclusively by KTV Working Drone, which is the authorized data processor.
The data processor is responsible at all times for ensuring that collected data and personal information are stored and handled in accordance with the applicable Data Processing Agreement and relevant legislation.
If individuals, sensitive personal information, or other confidential content are captured as part of the data collection, the data processor is required to censor such information before any further use of the data. The operating pilot(s) must proactively notify third parties if the collected data contains information that could violate personal privacy. The pilot(s) must also, to the greatest extent possible, ensure that data collection is carried out in a manner that minimizes the risk of capturing individuals, sensitive personal information, or other confidential content in the collected imagery.
